The Bentley Woodfair is held annually in September at the Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Musuem, near Lewes in East Sussex. Designed to bring together anyone with an interest in wood, ‘from forest to final form’, it proved a very successful venue for us. The Woodfair runs over three days, and we featured live demonstrations throughout. The feedback from visitors was very positive – they loved watching the fast and furious action of the chainsaw sculpting. They said it made a great spectator sport! We carved a Native American Indian Chief, owls and mushrooms and also demonstrated the finishing processes. Our thanks to everyone who came to see us, and especially those who bought our carvings!
Everyone from Woodland Centre had a great time. For exhibitors as well as visitors, there is a great deal to see. We’ll be back!
